Caribana is the largest Carnival in North America! This year is very special because it was just announce that one of Trinidads fabulous mas bands, Tribe Band is launching a section in 2010. Since I have missed the overseas trips AGAIN, this may be the next carnival trip to go to.

Bicentenial Park in Biscayne is turned in international showcase of color, light, and sound. Every 3rd Saturday in August, head to the South side to see Chicago celebrate Island Carnival with colorful handmade costumes, wild choreographed dances, great food, and awesome music that will have you shaking you booty. If you research now, you might even be able to participate!
